Our core product is raw lacquer resin. This raw lacquer is the natural resin collected from Rhus succedanea trees, carefully filtered but not yet fully processed. We provide two types: non-fermented (fresh) and fermented (aged) lacquer.

Fermented raw lacquer has been aged for over 6 months—a traditional process where the filtered sap is left to rest, allowing controlled oxidation and natural evaporation of moisture. This aging improves the resin's workability, darkens the tone slightly, and raises its laccol content to over 60%. At this stage, the resin is ready for direct use in making colored lacquers or various types of finishing lacquer, depending on your specific formulation.

If you prefer to control the aging process yourself, we also offer fresh filtered lacquer, which has not yet been fermented. You can age it according to your own timeline and technique, giving you flexibility to fine-tune the resin's curing behavior and performance to suit your craft.
